Cupellation is a metallurgical refining process where ores or alloy metals are treated at extremely high temperatures and controlled operations are performed to separate precious metals (such as gold and silver) from base metals.
Cupellation furnaces are designed for precious metal cupellation or fire assay analysis, which is a standard method for determining their purity. During this process, harmful vapors are released.
DECENT cupellation furnace is designed to meet extremely demanding process requirements. As a professional laboratory equipment, there are a variety of specifications to choose, capable of loading 50/100/168 cupels at a time, enhancing the efficiency of the fire assay process.
