Cupellation Furnace

Cupellation is a metallurgical refining process where ores or alloy metals are treated at extremely high temperatures and controlled operations are performed to separate precious metals (such as gold and silver) from base metals.

Cupellation furnaces are designed for precious metal cupellation or fire assay analysis, which is a standard method for determining their purity. During this process, harmful vapors are released.

DECENT cupellation furnace is designed to meet extremely demanding process requirements. As a professional laboratory equipment, there are a variety of specifications to choose, capable of loading 50/100/168 cupels at a time, enhancing the efficiency of the fire assay process. It is able to handle harmful vapors generated during the fire assay without exposing operators to these vapors.

The cupellation furnace manufactured by Qingdao Decent Group has a simple structure, convenient operation, scientific and reasonable design, and more precise temperature control, which helps to improve efficiency and repeatability of results and reduce errors in fire assay.

Equipment Construction

·The overall frame is made of 2mm high-quality carbon steel, and the outer surface is electrostatically sprayed with paint.

·Use silicon carbide heating element, and the furnace body is made of high-quality refractory materials.

·Equipped with a PID temperature control system.

·Electronic automatic temperature control with K-type thermocouples, capable of setting temperatures up to 1200°C.

·The independent furnace chamber design provides excellent protection for heating elements and insulation materials to resist steam erosion.
