The DECENT DTML-C TML Proctor/Fagerberg test equipment is designed for determining the Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) of moisture-sensitive bulk cargoes in accordance with applicable IMSBC Code testing procedures. The system is typically used for fine and coarse-grained materials with a maximum particle size of 5 mm, including iron ore fines, mineral concentrates, coal, bauxite, and other bulk cargoes requiring liquefaction risk assessment prior to maritime transportation.
Manufactured from precision-machined stainless steel components, the equipment provides reliable, repeatable, and accurate compaction testing for commercial laboratories, cargo inspection agencies, port facilities, mining companies, and research institutions.
Testing Procedure
Sample Preparation → Moisture Conditioning → Layered Compaction → Density Measurement → Data Analysis → TML Determination
The sample is conditioned to the required moisture level, compacted in a calibrated mould using the Proctor/Fagerberg method, and tested at multiple moisture contents. The resulting density and moisture data are used to determine the Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) for cargo transportation safety assessment.
Applications
The DTML-C TML Proctor/Fagerberg test equipment is an integrated standard compaction testing system, mainly composed of exclusive testing components, intelligent control unit, basic support system and auxiliary parts.
