Every DECENT Fume Hood is constructed entirely from high-quality galvanized steel, treated with advanced pickling, phosphating, and rust removal processes, then coated with high-voltage electrostatic spraying epoxy resin powder. This meticulous construction provides exceptional corrosion resistance, adhesion, and impact strength, guaranteeing superior durability and a long service life even in demanding chemical environments. Inside the Fume Hood, a non-metallic, detachable inner cabinet ensures structural integrity while preventing any exposed metal fittings from corroding due to chemical exposure.

An advanced ventilation system, designed with optimal installation positions and angles, ensures even exhaust distribution and consistently maintains a cross-sectional wind speed of approximately 0.5 meters per second, effectively discharging gases of varying specific gravities. Furthermore, the thoughtfully integrated safety features, such as multiple overload-protected power sockets and explosion-proof lighting isolated from the inner cavity, underscore DECENT’s dedication to user protection.

Material and structure:

All steel structure

The upper part of the cabinet is made of high-quality galvanized steel with a thickness of 1.0mm. The surface of the steel plate is treated with pickling, phosphating and rust removal. Then high-voltage electrostatic spraying epoxy resin powder, the film thickness is not less than 100um, to ensure that the film does not fall off, corrosion resistance, adhesion and impact strength meet industry standards.

The interior of the cabinet is all made of non-metallic materials. Under the premise of fully ensuring the structural strength, there are no exposed metal fittings in the cabinet to avoid corrosion. The inner structure of the cabinet is a detachable structure. The deflector (including the top plate, side plate, and deflector) is made of a 5mm thick anti-fold special plate. The installation position and angle of the three-stage deflector can make the exhaust evenly distributed, and the harmful gas can be completely eliminated in time so that the cross-sectional wind speed of the fume hood can be maintained at about 0.5 meters per second to ensure that the gases of different specific gravity can be effectively discharged.

The door of the lower part of the cabinet is made of a 1.0mm thick high-quality galvanized steel plate. The structure is a double-layer hollow type, which is explosion-proof and flame-retardant. The base cabinet partition is made of a 1.0mm thick high-quality galvanized steel sheet, and the bearing strength is 150kg/m2.

The adjustable window is a 6mm thick tempered transparent glass that does not slip off. The lift door adopts stepless balance lift, can hover at any position, and the maximum opening height is not less than 750mm. The lift door is made of sturdy material, the cable tension is more than 450kg, and it conforms to the CNS1111 G2009 tensile test. Lift door guides are constructed of corrosion-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC), extruded mold material. The liftgate door handle is sprayed with a chemical-resistant substance. The fume hood lift door window provides a clear view of the working area inside the fume hood. There are rubber buffer devices for the opening and closing of the lift door.

The ventilation counter surface is made of a 12.7mm thick psychological board, which is acid and alkali resistant, corrosion-resistant, high temperature resistant and antistatic. Recessed countertops prevent hazardous liquids from spilling. The surrounding edges are processed on the back, the total thickness is 25.4mm.

Explosion-proof isolation design, the ballast and lamp are installed outside the fume hood and are completely isolated from the inner cavity, and the illuminance of the countertop is not less than 300LUX.

The hinge adopts a high-quality alloy hinge, which can be opened 100,000 times without deformation. The surface is plated with anti-corrosion and matt, and the measurements are adjustable.
