The TML-D Portuguese-Fagerberg TML Testing Apparatus is a professional and precision testing device independently developed by Qingdao Decent Group for liquefiable solid bulk cargoes, fully compliant with the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code (IMSBC Code) and designed based on the classic Portuguese-Fagerberg testing method.
Adopting dynamic compaction simulation technology, the device accurately restores the actual compaction state of cargo at the bottom of the cargo hold caused by ship movement and vibration during navigation. By correlating three core indicators of the sample: void ratio, dry density and saturation, it scientifically determines the maximum total moisture percentage of the cargo without the risk of liquefaction and dynamic separation, namely the Transportable Moisture Limit (TML).
