Malaysia Container Laboratory Project: Revolutionizing On-Site Mineral Analysis

Qingdao Decent Group successfully designed, customized, and delivered two state-of-the-art Mobile Containerized Sample Preparation Laboratories for our esteemed client, Lynas, in Malaysia. This landmark Malaysia Container Laboratory Project stands as a testament to our unparalleled expertise in providing comprehensive, efficient, and tailored analytical solutions for the mining industry. These purpose-built laboratories are engineered to significantly enhance on-site mineral drying and sample processing, ensuring higher productivity and reducing potential human error in critical operations.

The project focused on creating a seamless, one-stop solution with an optimized, compact layout that maximized space utilization within the containerized framework. Our expert team maintained rigorous communication with Lynas throughout every phase, from initial design concepts to the meticulous manufacturing stage. This collaborative approach guaranteed that the final product not only met but exceeded Lynas’s specific laboratory requirements, affirming our commitment to client satisfaction.

Upon the arrival of the container laboratories in Malaysia, Qingdao Decent Group’s dedicated technical team promptly deployed on-site, completing the intricate installation and commissioning processes within an impressive three days. All integrated equipment operated with exceptional stability, with noise levels under both no-load and full-load conditions remaining well within permissible exposure limits, a key indicator of our quality and precision engineering.

Advanced Equipment Configuration for Dual-Lab Efficiency

The Malaysia Container Laboratory Project featured a meticulously planned equipment configuration across both mobile units:

  • Drying and Initial Preparation Lab:
This specialized laboratory was equipped with two DECENT Drying Oven DDO-2-2-2500E units, providing precise temperature control for efficient mineral drying. It also included one DECENT Downdraft Workstation DSW350 for safe and effective material handling, along with a DECENT Sample Storage Rack and a DECENT Sample Operation Table, ensuring organized and ergonomic workspace.

  • Crushing, Pulverizing, and Dividing Lab:
The second laboratory was designed for advanced sample preparation, housing one DECENT Sample Storage Rack, two DECENT Pulverizer Mill DP2000 units for fine grinding, and two robust workstations. Central to its functionality were a DECENT Jaw Crusher & Rotary Sample Divider Combo and an additional DECENT Lab Jaw Crusher, facilitating efficient primary crushing and representative sample division. An Unpowered Roller Conveyor Rack further streamlined material flow within the lab.

Crucially, both container laboratories were comprehensively outfitted with essential support systems: efficient DECENT Dust Collection Systems to maintain a clean and safe working environment, advanced lighting systems for optimal visibility, robust ventilation systems for air quality control, and integrated safety detection systems to ensure personnel protection.

The performance of all installed equipment surpassed client expectations. Specifically, the jaw crusher and pulverizer mill consistently met the stringent P80 2.36 mm and P80 75 µm specification requirements, while the rotary sample divider achieved an R2 90% uniformity requirement, validating the precision of our solutions. The pulse dust collection system demonstrated superior dust removal performance, highlighting its efficiency.
