Chile Container Laboratories: In 2018, Qingdao Decent Group solidified its reputation as a leader in modular lab solutions by delivering two fully transportable 40’HQ containerized units to Arica, Chile. This project is the second collaboration between the two parties after the container lab project in South Korea in 2015. The two labs were ordered by the UK-based client for its analytical center in Chile, fully demonstrating the client’s high recognition of Qingdao Decent Group’s excellent technology and service concept.
The Two Chile Container Laboratories are:
- A mineral sample preparation laboratory
- A space for on-site office
Why Chile? Meeting Industry Needs
As the world’s largest copper producer, Chile’s demand for efficient mobile laboratory solutions continues to grow. Remote mining sites require flexible infrastructure that is both portable and functional. DECENT Chile container laboratories are designed to withstand harsh environments while ensuring accurate sample analysis – critical for mineral exploration and quality control.
Sample preparation is a fundamental process in the mining industry, but its importance is often underestimated. In fact, the importance of sample preparation cannot be overstated, as its accuracy directly affects the reliability of analysis, and the final analysis results play a key decision-making role in mine exploration and grade control. It can be said that if sample preparation is wrong (sample is over-ground，sample particles are uneven，sample is contaminated，sample is not representative), no matter how advanced the analytical equipment and methods are, they cannot save it.
Compared with traditional laboratories, Chile container laboratories significantly shorten turnaround time and speed up the acquisition of analytical results with advantages such as rapid deployment and cost-effectiveness, helping companies make efficient decisions.
Sample Preparation Lab Core Equipment:
- Pulverizer: Equipped with two additional grinding bowls. The pulverizer maintains high performance and enables efficient sample processing while meeting budget requirements.
- Drying Chamber: Manufactured by DECENT according to the customer’s specific requirements, including heating mode, maximum temperature and precise temperature control, which are essential for accurate moisture testing. Comes with 50 trays for moisture testing.
- Sample Preparation Workbench: Rugged and designed for sample preparation operations, ergonomic and efficient workflow.
- Sample Storage Racks: 4 racks in the laboratory and 4 racks in the office, totaling 10,000 sample bags, are used for sample storage to prevent cross contamination.
On-site Office Unit:
A multifunctional workspace for administration, sample storage and team collaboration. It is mainly equipped with facilities such as office desks and chairs, filing cabinets, sample racks, and basic facilities such as electrical and photo systems to ensure a comfortable working environment.
